Twitter wine tasting TWV # 11 on mylugo.de
The eleventh edition of the Twitterweinverkosutng was full with one hand participants the 'quietest'. Was it the not so interesting offer, the holiday season? I think both. Partner was the online mail order - Platform mylugo , but the wines were supplied by the online wine retailer Enjoyable . Theme of the package was France, and included a Sauvignon Blanc from the Languedoc, and a red Rhone Cuvee.
As befits a handful of supporters dedicated to the first white wine
The Sauvignon Blanc was characterized by more mature yellow fruit notes. The style of this wine is more fruity and modern. It dominated grapfruit, peach. Green, grassy notes were hardly discernible. I'm more a fan of the green style, the wine gave me but still very good taste and value for money is really appealing. Friends of the yellow and fruity style wines have certainly more fun.
Last night was again a little more going on. The weather was also suitable to be representative of the red the Rhone devote. I got the part about 2 hours before opening, but has also brought nothing. The nose was limited immense, so somehow almost nonexistent. We speculated about red berries and cassis, but that really was nothing to identify. The best of the wine was the mouthfeel, the Strukur is juicy but not fatty and the wine supports a good acidity. But somehow between them was as good as nothing. Either the need for a long time to open, or it is a really modest price-performance ratio. Conclusion: disappointing and you have to not have a colleague who has disposed of the rest even equal.
The next package comes back directly from a German wine, namely Jochen evil from Landau-Nußdorf in the southern Palatinate. I could already taste the 2008 in February at the Wine Show in Hamburg and I am pleased for him to win the # TWV can
Here there is the next packet to TWV # 12 in September

Domination Mainstream Movie
second Twitter Wine Awards
The time was more than ripe. The very first event was terrific and so for me there was no doubt that the second Twitter Wine Awards, taking place this time in Klüsserath on the Moselle, a compulsory course will be for me. The number of participants, and the Rieslings employed has almost doubled. The event was held under the auspices of the German Wine Institute .
For example, on the weekend about 25 wine enthusiasts, from Bavaria to Hamburg Check the path to contemplative Klüsserath. There we expected a battery of 140 Rieslings, which we have tasted over the course of Saturday afternoon, highly concentrated.
Not everyone knew how to flatter my wine palate, but a considerable number of good Rieslings knew convincing and made the tasting a wonderful experience. As with the first edition but the results were surprisingly uniform and good Wines were quickly located and rightly awarded with MjammMjamm. After several hours the last tasters had fulfilled its task and the evaluation of the wines has produced the following winners.

It was another great weekend with many old and now new acquaintances. It is fascinating to learn about the people behind the avatars. I am looking forward to the next event in November on the theme Kaiserstuhl German Pinot Noir.
A sincere thanks to Dirk and Gaby Wuertz for the perfect organization and the effort of this unique event off the ground!
